A post here can be sponsored, which means a business paid for it. When that happens, you'll be told.
A sponsored post carries a Sponsored label at the top of the post, and if a sponsor paid for a post, it says so plainly. If there's no label, nobody paid for that post.
I decide what runs, sponsored or not. Paying for a post doesn't change the rest of the editorial policy: the same public sources, the same labelled guesses, the same check before it goes up.
Sponsored posts stay out of the Field Guide, and neither it nor the Napkin has a sponsor.
There are no affiliate links. No link here earns a commission when you click it or buy something.
